Breeze | Service Planning

It’s officially here! We recently rolled out our highly anticipated Service Planning feature within Breeze, allowing your church to organize your service order, upload essential attachments or links with just a click, and save service plan templates for quick and easy access in the future.

(And, this first version is just the beginning. Keep an eye out for further service planning features rolling out very soon!)

Elvanto | Updates to Events and Mass Manage in Groups

We also rolled out a few highly requested and helpful updates in Elvanto this month!

First, we have two updates in the Events area.

The discount code box is now visible automatically depending on whether or not a discount is configured for the event (instead of showing all the time).

Churches now have the option to set a default for whether or not they want the number of “Tickets Remaining” displayed on their event registration forms, as well as a new setting to override that for an individual event.

Lastly, we made an update to help make mass management of Groups easier. This update will be particularly useful if your church has seasonal groups!

Instead of having to click into each group, go to the Edit tab, and scroll to the bottom for this setting. Admin can now change as many churches as they want all at once.

‍Coming Soon

Giving | New Giving Form!

The brand-new Giving Form is rolling out to all of our customers this month. Some of you may already have access to it in your account. We are so excited about this update and can’t wait for you to use it!

Here’s a little sneak peek.

The new Giving Form:

• Allows donors to edit their recurring gifts
• Comes in English, Spanish, and French
• Offers more speed and stability than your current giving form does
• And more!

We’ll let you know when the form is available for your church to use, so keep an eye out for that announcement. And if you aren’t already using Tithely Giving, sign up for free here (new users automatically get access to the new Giving Form 😍).

The Faces of Tithely

‍Where are you working from?

I work from my office, which is technically the living room of my house converted into an office. This means that I’m right next to all of the excitement happening in the kitchen as my wife, Jessica, homeschools our two kids, Selah (5) and Booker (3).

I know it can be a struggle for many to have an office that’s open to the family due to the traffic and noise. I’ve learned to love noise canceling headphones and noise canceling software built into both Apple computers and Zoom.

On a funny note, my headphones do a better job canceling the noise than my computer software does, so as I meet with teams that I work with, they can often hear my family better than I can. This means that more than once I have been deep in a discussion and someone on the call has said something like “John, I think someone needs to poop” or will start breaking out in singing “Mary had a little lamb”, and it will take me a comical second to understand what’s going on since I can’t hear what they heard.

With all of that being said, I LOVE working from home and being able to partially experience so much of my family every minute of every day.

Favorite Cereal?

Cracklin’ Oat Bran is the greatest cereal on earth. I am shocked that such a boring looking cereal can taste so good. You look at it and expect it to have a basic Grape Nuts vibe. But wow, if you haven’t had it, then please go find some – you’ll thank me later.

Why do you love working at Tithely?

Tithely’s focus on God, the Church, and member growth is the #1 reason I LOVE working here. I cannot express how blessed I feel to be able to do something I love, and to have that work positively impact the Kingdom.

With my corner of Tithely being Product, I am able work through how all of our Products like Giving, Church Apps, and Sites connect. This creates the need for complex problem solving, which results in solutions to real problems that I have personally experienced while serving on staff and leading volunteers at my church. The process of building these solutions with incredible talented teams is something I am thankful for on a daily basis.
