In this new stage of digital age (what a lovely rhyme), having an eye-pleasing presentation for your sermon slide deck or Zoom screen share is more important now than ever. Sure, we could talk all day about the part of church that really mattersーyou know, the worship, fellowship, one another relationships, etc. But now that most church members receive that little Facebook notification every Sunday morning that “Church ____ is now live”, local members can choose to tune into whatever church stream they’d like. The hope and prayer is that church members aren’t choosing their Sunday worship based solely on graphics, stage presence, or worship genre, but think back to the first time you stepped into church (or tuned into the online stream). Sometimes what gets a first-timer in the door initially isn’t always the same reasons they stay for the long haul.

Let’s be honest. Not every church has a media or design team. In fact, most churches that were forced into the digital stratosphere in March of 2019 learned best practices at the University of Hard Knock. Now that many churches are determining how and when to start meeting in person again, the question that remains on everyone’s mind is, “What will our hybrid services look like moving forward?”

If you’ve decided that the digital look and feel of your church service matters, you’re not alone. Here are a few great options for sprucing up your Sunday sermon that won’t add tons of time you don’t have. These four resources are sure to make your church stream or satellite service screen-ready for the members or visitors who aren’t yet comfortable (or healthy enough) to meet in person.
