Hi, all!

Let me introduce you to Ben Sinclair.

Ben is our Chief Technology Officer (and engineer wrangler) here at Tithe.ly.

Ben leads the charge when it comes to maintaining our software, overseeing updates, and executing on the vision we have in creating the best-in-class software for local churches and ministries.

Ben is the founder of Elvanto (now Tithe.ly Church Management). In November 2018, Elvanto and Tithe.ly joined forces, so Ben became part of the family.

Recently, I asked Ben a few questions to get to know him better.

Here’s what he had to say.

Q: What does a typical day at Tithe.ly look like for you?

A: Talking to people! I oversee the engineering team, so my day mainly consists of talking to engineering team leads and pretty much every department here at Tithe.ly.

Q: What’s the best part about working at Tithe.ly?

A: The culture for sure.

Q: Not including Tithe.ly (shameless plug), what is one must-use app or tool for church leaders?

A: The Bible app, of course!

Q: What’s your definition of success?

A: Spending quality time with the people you care about.

Q: What's something a lot of people don't know about you?

A: I started out as a humble programmer.

Q: Who is a role model that you look up to?

A: My senior pastor, Dan, at my church, C3 Currumbin.

Thanks for following along!

Stay tuned to meet more members of the Tithe.ly team!

H6 What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

H4 Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

H4 How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
