Before using Tithe.ly, Calvary Baptist Church relied on a range of platforms for giving, event planning, communications, and more. But as Pastor of Student Ministries Michael Lane explains, “When you’re using multiple applications, people have to create [multiple] logins.” The better solution? “When you can bring everything together under one umbrella, it’s much simpler for our church family,” continues Michael. 

Located in King, North Carolina, Calvary Baptist Church is an independent Baptist church that serves families from all over the region with Biblical teaching, ministries, and various events. Like most any other church, Calvary Baptist relies on the generosity of its members to run effectively. Thanks to Tithe.ly, however, Calvary Baptist has been able to trade in the offering plate for digital giving…and seen extraordinary results. 

“If you had told me 5 or 10 years ago that we would quit passing a plate and generosity would go up, I wouldn’t have believed it,” says Michael. But today, two-thirds of all giving to Calvary Baptist is recurring–set up through Tithe.ly. “[Tithe.ly] knocks down barriers to giving,” explains Michael.
